The pub was the principal set on Pennyworth S3, I oversaw a significant number changes of direction (and changes of Production Designer) drew the P&E's plus all the details.
An unusual self contained INT/EXT set which was built on the lot on a concrete slab with a steel frame, which included a partial second floor.

A personal study
Barrack Yard existed in Chalfont St Peter up until 1938 when it was pulled down. Judge Jeffries once stationed his troops here.
The evolution of the buildings is apparent with the very early Cross Keys Tavern in the middle with it's open hall construction and later flanked additions which dwarf it.
Reference was limited to a handful of usable photographs - also see the animated Rhino models in the next section.
